HARWICH & DOVERCOURT CC MATCH SUMMARY
After losing the toss team "B" were put into bat on a damp wicket with overnight rain affecting contitions. Team "A" got off to a steady start with D. Smith keeping the runs down from one end and skipper Daniel Goff removing danger man Lee Davis for 2. With pace not being the best option skipper Daniel Goff turned to Stuart Barwood for him to destroy team "B's" batting line up and this he suceeded, taking 4 wickets along the way Sam Trussler who top scored with 29. Team "B" finished well staggering to 117 on a damp wicket.
Team "A" came out to bat with skipper Daniel Goff and big hitter Stuart Barwood and they took no time at all getting used to the conditions and smashed all efforts of the Bowlers around the ground scoring 48 in just 6 overs. Stuart Barwood was the first to fall with a dubious L.B.W decision for 35. Soon after skipper Daniel Goff for 25 was dismissed and the job was then left to James Goff with some big hitting seeing the team home with 3 sixes in a row for a comfortable victory.
